Here is a list of deadlines and a schedule of annual Rainbow events:
- First Saturday in October: Donations are due to Quilted Expressions which must include a registration sheet and dinner ticket sales begin.
- Third Weekend in October: Rainbow of Hope Quilt Show which will display all of the projects available at the auction. Voting will take place to determine our Wendy Haueter Viewer's Choice Award. Fink's Jeweler has graciously donated our prize for the winner in honor of Wendy, one of our quilting family gems who we lost to Breast Cancer. Be sure to thank the Fink's nearest you for their support of this project!
- First Saturday in November: Dinner/Auction at Mountain View United Methodist Church on Rte 221 on Perrowville Road on the hill on the right (across from Forest Middle School). For those with GPS, the address is 1077 Viewpoint Lane, Forest, Virginia, 24551
Dinner starts at 5pm and is by ticket only. Tickets are $25 each with proceeds also to benefit Hospice House. You will enjoy your dinner seat at the auction and we will be giving away doorprizes!
**I have just heard word that not only will the catering crew be back but the 2009 menu will include the delicious pork tenderloin recipe from the 2007 dinner! So many items were donated in 2008 in order to reduce expenses so Hospice would receive even more. Thank you to the following and please let them know you appreciate their donations should you see them -

Kroger on Timberlake donated all of rolls
Morris Orchard donated two bushels of apples
Donald John's at Conner Produce donated ALL of the fruits and vegetables
Ray Vece at S&D coffee donated ALL of the coffee
Sharon Athearn made an extremely generous monetary donation
